Anish Makim

Anish is a partner with ExCap Advisors, with over 15 years’ experience in senior management roles within TELUS & Rogers. Prior to that, he was a consultant with KPMG, AT Kearney, and Deloitte. Anish focuses on helping businesses accelerate growth and successful outcomes.

Recent assignments include working with a technology company in Ontario to grow revenue 5x, raising growth equity for a fast-growing manufacturing company, and advising the government of Ontario on its broadband expansion program. He also works with asset managers to improve operations with portfolio companies, with recent projects in Toronto, Madrid, and Geneva.

Kevin Andrade

Kevin is a lawyer and executive with over 20 years of international business experience. After practicing corporate law in Toronto and New York, Kevin joined an international engineering and construction company and transitioned from legal counsel to a senior executive leading a global business unit. He was then COO of a publicly listed clean-tech company and has continued to advise on sustainable infrastructure projects. He is a founding partner of InHaus Legal LLP which provides strategic legal services for our clients as well.

Steven Martin

Steven is a partner at ExCap and leads our innovation group. Steven is the founder and former CEO of Pond Technologies a leader in creating carbon capture through algae.

 

Steven is also past Director of the Jeffrey Skoll MBA Program offered through the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto to gifted young engineers, and was is a former Director of the Professional Development Centre in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto. He has also held the position of Director of the Centre for Advanced Microelectronics and was the founding Director of the Centre for Advanced Engineering Technologies at George Brown College.

 

Steven holds an H.B.Sc. in Chemical Physics and a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Toronto.
